Why?
Ok, now we’ve talked about how we got to where we are right now.
Really quickly, before we can talk about a solution, we have to have a solid reason that will drive us to do something different.
What do you want so badly that you’ll be willing to do the work to make it happen?
Typically, when I ask someone why they want to do something different in life they say they want time or money.
But when we talk a bit deeper, both of those really mean they want a lifestyle where they can live their lives not limited by work schedules and income.
Our why is what drives and motivates us to do more.

So, What Can We Do About It NOW?
After all my education, training, and experience, it has become clear that having a job will not get us to where we want to be….
Where we can work less and earn more…Where we can spend unlimited time with our family and friends…Where we can create passive, recurring income…Where we will be able to retire and live the lifestyle we want…
If you’re tracking with me, you’re probably wondering the big question… then, what can we actually do about it?
That’s exactly what we’re going to talk about for the rest of our time together.
We found that the best solution is to build a business of our own where we are in control. Think about the right side of the Cash Flow Quadrant.
If you stay with me, I will discuss the three secrets to our success plan and how you may fit in.
OK, let’s get right to it.
We Tried It All…
We knew we needed to have our own business, but there were so many choices out there.
We knew a couple of key things right away…
First, it had to be legal, moral, and ethical.
We needed something that would let us leverage our time so that we did not replace a 50+ hour a week job with a 50+ hour a week business.
We also needed something that not only provided immediate income but also recurring passive income that would come in month after month.
We knew we did not want to work forever, so we wanted to build something today that would last and provide income forever.
We looked at tons of different business models. We evaluated everything… compared all the pros and cons and it was a bit overwhelming to be honest.
So, we created a list of requirements and checked the boxes for each one.
We needed both immediate and passive income and the ability to leverage our time, so we didn’t spend all our time working a business like a job.
We didn’t want to be tied to a location so we could operate anywhere.
We also didn’t have 10’s of thousands of dollars to invest and didn’t have experience running our own business.
We wanted a proven plan to follow so we knew exactly what to do step-by-step.
We wanted to be able to get up and running quickly.
Finally, we wanted a way to have a constant flow of customers without having to bother friends and family or spend all day posting on social media.
As we looked into different business models, we had a hard time finding something that checked enough of our boxes.
It was hard to find one that provided both immediate income and true passive income.
Most require you to keep finding new products or creating new content to keep money coming in which takes all your time.
Most options did not provide a proven step-by-step plan so you are on your own or have to go elsewhere to find help, but most of that support was not really invested in our success.
I imagine you’ve probably found the same things, so let’s spend the rest of our time talking about what we do to help people achieve their goals.
Secret #1: Schedule Freedom
Let’s talk about our first secret: schedule freedom.
I’ll share how we set our own schedule and have more family time than ever before while working from the comfort of our home.
Our goal was not to go from a 50+ hour a week job to a 50+ hour a week business.
Would you rather have 100% of your own salary and effort and trade that time and time away from your family in order to get the paycheck?
Or would you rather be able to buy back your time, duplicate yourself in a way that provides you 1% of hundreds or even thousands of people's efforts while achieving the freedom of time that aligns with your family values and your priorities?
This is the concept of duplication that J Paul Getty, the first reported billionaire figured out. He said that he'd rather have 1% of the effort of 100 people than 100% of his own effort.
If you really understand this concept, you will choose the latter every time.
So, I want you to hear me clearly...
What happens when your child is sick and you have to pick them up in the middle of the day and then they're sick for three, four, five days?
Or maybe your spouse is injured or out sick and you need to stay home to care for them?
What happens? We all have been there. We have all experienced it. Your boss is frustrated.
You become increasingly stressed because you're thinking about all the stuff piling on your desk at work, while you should be able to just love on your child or spouse without thinking about all those things.
You may or may not have had any vacation days or sick days available, so who knows if you're even going to be paid during this time off.
So it can add an additional layer of financial stress.
The thing is that if you cannot remove yourself at all without repercussions financially or mentally or in workload, then you are always going to have to be present in order to make money.
And that is the one thing that trading time for money.
That's why it doesn't work, right? It will never be the solution.
Instead, what if you were able to duplicate your efforts through other people and earn while you were sleeping?
How would it feel to go on a month-long family vacation as the money continues to pour into your bank account, right?
Or you can stay home, right? Stay at home with that sick child and check out for a week completely while you know that you're earning on the back end.
And so when you're able to duplicate yourself and you're able to take 1% of the efforts of many people versus just 100% of your own, you will always be earning.
And that is the beauty of moving past the left side of the quadrant to the right side, passive income side.
